Some frequently asked questions (FAQs) on Reiki & their answers are given below for the benefit of all viewers

Q.1:  Why one should learn Reiki? 

Ans : Reiki is a complimentary Therapy to traditional and allopathic medicines.  Reiki assists in healing of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects.  This is a powerful tool which may be used by anyone.  Reiki is always safe.  This is an effective tool to heal oneself and others including psychological, spiritual and emotional issues.  Reiki can be used for first aid, to heal animals, children and anyone who is out of balance.  Reiki enhances insight, creative flow and higher understanding of oneself for realising one’s potential.  This is very effective tool for stress reduction.  This is easy to learn. 

Q 2:  Is Reiki Magic? 

Ans :  Magic is the art of bringing about changes of consciousness at will. Judging by this definition, Reiki cannot be called magic.  Reiki is the flow of energy which sets them into motion. The essence of Reiki is, unlimited love, getting connected with unlimited source of energy.  Black magic is based on power of hatred and fear. 

Q.3:  Is it absolutely necessary  to have a Reiki initiation to be able to start laying of hands? 

Ans :  Hands automatically reach to the diseased parts.  Every human being has power to transmit power to others.  Reiki initiation makes you available as medium for transfer of power from universal energy.  Here one simply acts as conduit for flow of power.  Reiki also protects you and the client from negative vibrations.  With each initiation, the energy goes on multiplying. 

Q 4:  Does one require to have faith in Reiki to make it work? 

Ans :  No, the faith is not required.  Reiki is transmitted if needed and is accepted by subconscious.  The energy starts flowing even if Reiki Channel does not believe in anything.  No religious belief, no faith in God is required.  It all takes place automatically. 

Q. 5:  Is it possible to cure any disease/disorder by Reiki? 

Ans :  No, all types of healing systems have limitations.  It must be born in mind that it is a complementary Therapy.  It may be used as supporting measure for quick relief.  Physicians need to be consulted for emergent nature of problems.  However, it is very useful for psychological/ psychosomatic problems. This may be used for habit changing, improving relationships, clearing space, protection from negative forces, control of emotions, balancing of body & mind. 

Q.6:  Is it effective in absent healing?

Ans:  Reiki energy can be transmitted in absence.  It travels distance, surpasses time and space.  One may treated someone in America sitting in India. 

Q.7 :  What about self-healing? 

Ans:  This is a very good tool for self healing.  If one is initiated, the hands starts getting activated automatically.  Wherever hands are layed, energy starts flowing.  Reiki mini session may be of high use. One may go for 5 minutes of Reiki mini session before going to bed & early in the morning.  This also works well.  This can be used to overcome fatigue. 

Q 8:  How stress can be controlled by Reiki? 

Ans :  One may lie down & put his hands  over the eyes.  Just watch the breathing, making  body relaxed.  The  hands start giving energy & healing is started automatically.  This may be tried.  Hands may be then placed on temples & back of the head.  These two positions further enhance the effects. 

Q.9:  Kindly give some more examples where Reiki is effective. 

Ans:  It is very effective for protection of vehicle. Before starting the journey, if Reiki symbols are given, this protects vehicles & the occupant of vehicles.  In case of Traffic Jam, Reiki symbols are very effective.  The road blocks are cleared and the way becomes available within 5 minutes. If the boss is angry, Reiki symbols improve the relation.  These symbols are very effective in improving relations.  There are many more benefits, which are told during Reiki Seminars. 

Q10.  Why the Reiki initiations are priced? 

Ans.  The Course fees are regulated by the market, as other prices for goods and services.  Once, initiated, this works whole life, so the prices given may be taken as a sharing.  The prices are kept so that no guilt develops and this is taken as a sharing with the master.
